PRICING

The price of each product is displayed alongside the product, in the event of a product being on special, this price will be displayed.

All prices are quoted in South Africa Rands (ZAR)

All prices on the website include VAT (value added tax) at the rate determined by applicable legislation prevailing at the time the purchase is made.

Prices are only valid on the website and not in branches.

Delivery costs are calculated in accordance to region of delivery and is calculated by the weight of each product.

Time based pricing as stipulated by Gem Care’s adverts and as displayed on the website are only available for a specific period of time - any purchases done outside of such times, will not be honoured at the special pricing.

Gem Care reserves the right, without prior notice, to discontinue or change its pricing or product and/or service specifications offered on this website without incurring any liability whatsoever.

EO&E - Errors Omissions & Excepted - all precautions will be taken to provide correct pricing and images on this site, however in the event that an error does occur, no liability can be held against Gem Care to provide such products at such pricing.

PAYMENT

Gem Care offers the following payment options viz:-

Credit Card Payments

At the time of placing the order, the transaction details are presented to the bank and an authorisation is obtained for the amount of the order.

Note that to protect it's own and the interests of customers, Gem Care scrutinizes all transactions very carefully to prevent attempted fraud and a transaction may be refused if Gem Care is not satisfied with it's legitimacy.

Card Acquiring and Security

Card transactions will be acquired for Gem Care via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer Details Separate From Card Details

Customer details will be stored by Gem Care separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

Bank Deposit

If the user selects the "pay via bank deposit", instructions will need to be followed on how to deposit monies into Gem Care’s bank account and will be subject to the following rules:

The exact amount must be paid

The payments must be identified by supplying the order number and name and/or surname in the reference section of the deposit slip or on the electronic transfer and a copy of the transaction slip must be emailed through to Gem Care.

No transfers must be made from ATM's

No cheque deposits

Gem Cares bank account details can be provided upon request.

MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

RESPONSIBILITY

Gem Care takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

Stocks of all goods on offer are limited. Gem Care shall take all reasonable efforts to discontinue the offer as soon as stock is no longer available.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are not transferable.

Vouchers can only be redeemed whilst they are valid and expiry dates cannot be extended.

SECURITY

The user agrees and warrants that his/her /its log-in name and password shall:

be used for persona use only; and

not be disclosed to any third party

The user allows Gem Care to take all reasonable steps to ensure the integrity and security of the Gem Care website and applications.

Any person that delivers or attempts to deliver any damaging code to this web site or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any page shall be prosecuted and civil damages shall be claimed.

All credit card transactions are Secure Socket Layers encrypted.
